Garden Tomato and Feta Salad

I made this recipe with a mix of home-grown tomatoes of different colours, and it was perhaps the best tomato salad I've ever had.

Serves 6

2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp white wine vinegar
1 Tbsp snipped fresh chives
2 tsps snipped fresh basil, or 1/2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp Dijon-style mustard
1/8 tsp black pepper
5 cups tomatoes, large ones cut into wedges, cherries cut in half
2/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
Dressing: Combine olive oil, vinegar, chives, basil, sugar, mustard and pepper. Whisk. Place tomatoes in bowl, drizzle dressing over tomatoes and toss lightly to coat. Sprinkle with feta cheese.
