Salsa Fresca

Here is a simple salsa recipe, synthesized from several others.
Makes about 3 cups.
3 tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup green pepper, diced
1/4 cup cilantro chopped finely
1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
1/2 cup onions, chopped finely
2 teaspoon lime juice
2 teaspoon white vinegar
2 serrano or jalapeno peppers, sliced thinly
1/4 cup beer (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
Mix ingredients and chill for thirty minutes at least.
