Doug's first co-op meal: Thursday 7pm (RSVP by Wed. midnight)

Date: Thursday, 27/Feb
Time: 7:00pm
Place: 1834 Shaw Ave (See http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~cburch/havoc.html)
RSVP: By Wednesday, 11:59pm

Due to nostalgia for my brief stint as a Pacific northwesterner, I am
making a salmon dish. Note that I'm not an experienced cook, but my
philosophy with this one is, "How bad can I possibly do with salmon?"
Don't tell me if you the answer to this isn't encouraging.

Menu:

Salmon scampi with wine. An Alaskan recipe that I've had before and liked.
Note: uses bacon in preparation

Caesar salad

Lemon rice pilaf

An inexpensive Chardonnay, unless there are objections

Also, I'd like to point out that I just recently developed a
random recipe generator, loosely related to a homework assignment
I'm designing for the course I TA. It's on the Web. Give it a
try at

http://bobo.link.cs.cmu.edu/cgi-bin/dougb/recipe

This generator wil in no way be used in the preparation of my meal :-)

Regards,

Doug
