(Ping is cooking this time; it's a nearly-vegetarian Japanese meal.)

Miso soup
<br>
Vegetable appetizer sampler
<br>
 (Eggplant with miso sauce, Japanese pumpkin with oyster sauce,
<br>
  Spinach with sesame sauce, Lotus root and white turnip)
<br>
Yakisoba (Pan-fried noodles with mushrooms and cabbage)
<br>
Fresh fruit jelly (ie jello)
<br>

(Miso soup usually involves fish stock, and oyster sauce involves oysters;
<br>
these are the only non-vegetarian things in the meal. If you can't eat 
<br>
these things, let me know when you reply - Ping says he can substitute
<br>
vegetarian alternatives.)
