I have seen it the last few times I drove by and wondered if it was any good. I had tried Vegetarian Delight *once* and was sickened by the filthiness of the place. A Sri Lankan friend had recommended it to me but I think there were different owner's when he had last been there and he wasn't aware of what it was like when I went. May I presume that the new owners have cleaned the place up and that it is now a sanitary establishment? I beg to differ on the question of Dosa Hut being the only South Indian restaurant in the Pgh. area. Shish Mahal in Monroeville (across from Miracle Mile Shopping Center in the Sunrise Inn) serves South Indian cuisine. I haven't been there for quite a while but it was very good the last time I was there. They have a buffet which I like because I can eat all the gulab jamun I want!!!!! I'm also glad to hear the good review of the van on Thackeray - it's right down the street from my office. I'll have to give it a try. Do they have samosas? That's one of my favorites. Kate
